Pharma Premier League (PPL) Kicks Off in Birgunj, 9 Teams from the Pharmaceutical Sector Compete

Birgunj – The “Pharma Premier League (PPL)” began on Friday at the Gyanda Academy playground in Birgunj. The event is jointly organized by Pharma Club Birgunj and Nepal Pharmaceuticals Madhesh Province. The tournament will continue until Thursday, Baisakh 11 (April 25).

Aimed at strengthening mutual relationships among professionals in the pharmaceutical sector through sports, the league was inaugurated by Sandeep Tulsiyan, Chairman of Gyanda Academy. The opening ceremony was graced by notable guests including Vinay Kabra, Managing Director of Apex Pharma; Sarvottam Giri, Technical Director of Magnus Pharma; Ashish Thakur, Director of Samar Pharma; Shashikant Thakur, President of Nepal Pharmaceuticals Madhesh Province; Yugal Kishor Saran, Secretary; Niraj Kumar Giri, President of Pharma Club Birgunj; and Vice President Raman Bhunder Yadav. Other distinguished guests included Surendra Batas, Deepam Goyal, Kamal Nayan, and Chandan Singh.

Nine companies related to the pharmaceutical industry are participating in the competition. The league is primarily sponsored by Magnus Pharma, Gyanda Academy, Arya Pharma, and Agro Thai Foods.

According to the organizers, the Pharma Premier League is expected to further strengthen collaboration, networking, and professional relationships among businesspeople, representatives, and institutions working in the pharmaceutical field.
